About Me

Thank you for visiting my website and considering counseling with me. I am originally from the San Gabriel Valley. I lived in the Bay Area where I attended Stanford University as an undergraduate student and Santa Clara University as a graduate student. I arrived back in Los Angeles County in 2009 to begin working on my internship. As an intern, I worked at several different agencies and in private practice. I worked for a foster family and adoption agency where I helped birth parents, foster parents, prospective adoptive parents, adoptive parents, and children in the foster care system navigate and cope with the foster care and adoptive process as well as increase attachment within families. I worked with children with developmental delays and their families at a non-public school and worked with children and teens in the foster care system with severe psychiatric needs throughout Los Angeles County.

In private practice, both as a licensed and pre-licensed professional, I have worked with couples, families, and individuals on relationship concerns such as communication skills, assertiveness skills, increasing empathy, and working through parenting issues. I specialize in working with couples, especially parents, and increasing attachment between the couple and the couple as parents and  to strengthen their family relationships for the long term.

In my spare time, I can be found with my three children wandering the Huntington Gardens, doing crafts, baking, or on the sidelines of one of their games or performances. I also enjoy doing yoga and a good Starbucks run.
